Welcome to Snarky.Tech. We decided to create this blog as a place to both vent our frustration with the focus of the tech media on non-technical things as well as an outlet for writing and conversing.

J. Adam Noah is a research scientist at the Yale School of Medicine studying applications of near-infrared spectroscopy to human motor control and cognitive neuroscience.  Adam builds and maintains all the computer systems involved in this research and is a devoted Street Fighter Player.  Currently Adam rocks an Asus ROG rig with a Formula IV motherboard, a STRIX 1070 GPU, 32GB of RAM and a i7 4700s CPU. Adam’s favorite software includes Maya, Motionbuilder, and MatLAB.  Adam is currently playing Uncharted 4, Doom (PC), Madden 2017, Street Fighter IV and V, Tetris and Geometry Wars 3.  He is also an avid lover of MINI Coopers and Siamese cats. Nick McCarthy is a native NYer, world traveler and constant consumer of ramen, hot pockets and finely aged scotches. By day he works as a Sales Engineer for fintech software firm, and when not a work is a lover of movies, books, quality TV shows and the NYC foodie scene. When not complaining about politics or the MTA, you can find home complaining about tech here, though he really loves it.
